Ekiti Election: Fayemi and Arise Praise INEC's Conduct

During the governorship election in Ekiti State, former governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the seamless conduct of the voting process.

He noted that the accreditation and voting were efficient, particularly at Ogilolo Ward 11, Unit 9 in Isan Ekiti. Fayemi's wife also praised the teamwork displayed by INEC officials.

Ayo Arise, a former member of the National Assembly, expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would emerge victorious, despite describing the voter turnout as average across the state. He characterized the election process as peaceful and efficient, although he acknowledged that the turnout was lower than expected.

Arise remarked that while the turnout was not exceptionally high, he believed the APC would still secure a significant number of votes, indicating a lack of serious competition in the election.
