Eko 2026 LOC Launches Official Website for Games

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the inaugural National Intermediate Games, known as Eko 2026, has unveiled its official website, eko2026.org. This platform is designed to offer real-time information and easy access to details regarding the multi-sport event.

Gbenga Omotoso, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, emphasized the website's user-friendly design, featuring clean fonts and intuitive navigation to assist visitors in finding information effortlessly. Omotoso stated that the website will serve as a dynamic hub for updates throughout the competition, aiming to provide first-time visitors with essential information about Lagos and the Games.

He also recalled Lagos' history of hosting significant sporting events, including the first National Sports Festival in 1973 and the well-regarded edition in 2012. Omotoso assured stakeholders that Eko 2026 will continue this tradition, aspiring to set new standards in youth sports development and to stage the most colorful Games in Nigeria's history.
