Fani-Kayode Accuses El-Rufai of National Security Threat

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister, has publicly declared that Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, poses a threat to national security. This assertion follows serious allegations made by El-Rufai during a recent interview, where he claimed that Nuhu Ribadu's phone was bugged by the NSA's office.

Fani-Kayode criticized El-Rufai's statements, describing them as undermining national security and indicative of complicity in illegal actions. He emphasized that El-Rufai's public admissions about his relationship with the NSA and the exchange of information, despite acknowledging their illegality, make him an accessory to a crime.

Fani-Kayode urged El-Rufai to seek legal redress rather than making public accusations and to refrain from creating panic regarding unsubstantiated claims about the importation of chemical weapons. He called for El-Rufai to act with dignity and respect, warning that his remarks could further inflame tensions in Kaduna State.
