ADC Accuses EFCC of Targeting Opposition Figures

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised concerns regarding the perceived partisan actions of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). During an interview on Arise Television on Thursday, ADC spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi commented on the recent arrests of former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

Abdullahi expressed that the ADC views the EFCC's actions as politically motivated, particularly in targeting opposition figures. He described the selective prosecution as troubling but clarified that the party does not presume guilt or innocence regarding the individuals involved.
