NFF Sets Election Timeline for Executive Committee 2026

The NFF Electoral Committee has released the roadmap for the NFF Executive Committee elections, set to take place on September 27, 2026, in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State. The process will begin with the publication of rules and guidelines and the commencement of form sales on August 1, 2026.

Candidates must submit their forms by August 12, 2026. The committee will notify candidates of any document irregularities between August 13 and 19, with regularization occurring from August 20 to 27.

Candidate screening is scheduled for August 27 to 30, and the list of cleared candidates will be published on August 31. Disqualified candidates will have the opportunity to appeal from September 1 to 3, with appeals determined between September 4 and 10.

The final list of cleared candidates will be released on September 11 and 12, followed by the publication of the delegates' list on September 13. Campaigning for cleared candidates will take place from September 14 to 24, with the deadline for election petitions set for September 30, 2026.
