NFF Inaugurates Committees for Upcoming Elections

On Thursday, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) inaugurated its Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeal Committee at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja. The committees are tasked with conducting elections for the NFF Executive Committee for the period 2026-2030.

Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the NFF, officiated the inauguration, emphasizing the importance of conducting credible elections that would be recognized globally. Barr.

Matthew Burka, a senior advocate, represented the committee and assured that both committees would approach their duties with seriousness and integrity, ensuring a transparent electoral process. The Electoral Committee includes members such as Alhaji Babagoni Grema, Alhaji Batur Musa, and others, while the Electoral Appeal Committee features Hon. Justice C.J.

Anek and Professor Abdulmalik Awwal. Dr. Moham Sanusi will serve as the secretary of the committees.

The elections are scheduled to take place in Lafia, Nasarawa State, on Saturday, September 26.
