Embraer Projects Demand for 8,500 New Jets by 2045

Embraer, a Brazil-based aircraft manufacturer, has projected a worldwide demand for 8,500 new jets valued at $650 billion over the next 20 years. This forecast is detailed in Embraer's Market Outlook for 2026, which focuses on commercial jet aircraft deliveries in the sub-150-seat category.

The report indicates that China is expected to lead in annual Revenue Passenger Kilometres (RPK) growth, while North America will take the lead in jet aircraft deliveries. The estimates for the 20-year period through 2045 include 8,500 orders for new jets.

Additionally, the report analyzes global influences and trends across seven world regions that will impact the demand for new aircraft and also examines the standard body cargo segment. Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Commercial Aviation at Embraer, stated that a realignment in the movement of people, capital, and goods globally will affect future airline passenger flows, emphasizing the need for efficient links between emerging economic centers.
