Eminent Nigerians Honor Princess Opawol at Funeral

Eminent Nigerians paid their last respects to Princess Sabainah Ibironk Opawol at her funeral service held at Ibara Baptist Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The service was attended by distinguished individuals, including Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, alongside their families.

Governor Abiodun delivered a tribute, describing the late princess as a woman of deep Christian faith whose unwavering devotion to God was evident in her daily life. He noted her joy in reading the Bible and her commitment to scripture until her last days.

Former President Obasanjo also honored her legacy, emphasizing her selfless service and love for her family. Other notable attendees included former Ogun State Governor Olufunso Amosun, Senator Solomon Adeola, and Hon.
