Isbae U Defends Ogogo Amid Cancer and Political Criticism

Content creator Isbae U defended veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who is currently undergoing treatment for stage-four cancer. This health condition was made public by his family, raising concerns among fans and colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

However, Ogogo's illness became a topic of political debate when some social media users linked his cancer battle to his support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The controversy intensified after comedian MC Lively shared an old video of Ogogo endorsing Tinubu, which he later deleted following backlash.

In response, Isbae U called for an end to the politicization of Ogogo's health, urging those without helpful information to refrain from using his condition to attack him politically. He emphasized that Ogogo is a human being fighting for his life and should be treated with compassion.
