Enugu Air Aircraft Veers Off Runway at Benin Airport

On Thursday, an Enugu Air aircraft, an Embraer regional jet, veered off the runway after landing at Benin Airport, prompting an emergency response. Fortunately, all passengers and crew members disembarked safely without injuries.

Enugu Air released a statement via its official X account, confirming the incident as a runway excursion and stating that aviation regulators had been informed as per safety protocols. The airline indicated that the aircraft has been secured and an assessment of the situation is underway.
