Nnamani Declares Authentic PDP Governorship Candidacy

Samson Chukwu Nnamani, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, declared himself the authentic governorship candidate for the 2027 elections during a press conference held in Enugu. Nnamani's claim follows a Supreme Court judgment that recognized his faction, led by Abdurahman, as the legitimate leadership of the PDP in Enugu.

He emphasized that the PDP in Enugu is no longer factionalized, as confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Nnamani pledged to focus on infrastructure development, job creation, industrialization, and policies that support small businesses.

He urged residents to disregard rival claims to the PDP governorship ticket, which include contenders like former Minister of Science and Technology Uche Nnaji and Dona Nwogbo, whom he described as making spurious allegations. Nnamani called for unity among the people of Enugu State, regardless of political affiliation, religion, or social status.
