Enugu South re-run: Tinubu’s Minister, Nnaji defended democracy – APC

The Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) praised Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, for defending democracy during the Enugu South re-run election. The victory of Labour Party's Mr.

Bright Ngene in the Enugu South 1 Constituency was hailed by the APC. The party also thanked other political figures for their support.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ngene the winner after a botched rerun election on August 16, where he received over 2,000 votes, defeating his closest opponent. The APC assured Ngene of their support and vowed to stand behind him in any legal battles.

The party emphasized the need for all citizens to defend the electoral process and ensure fair elections in the future.
