Dr. Paul Erinn Commits N250m to GSS Afikpo Hall Renovation

Dr. Paul Erinn, founder of the Paul Erinn Foundation and a 1967 alumnus of GSS Afikpo, has pledged N250 million to remodel the school's assembly hall. This initiative, announced during the 2026 National Delegates Conference of the GSS Afikpo Old Boys Association (GSSAOBA) held in Afikpo, Ebonyi State, is recognized as the largest single alumni-funded infrastructure project in Southeast Nigeria.

The project initially estimated at N100 million rose to N250 million following a comprehensive structural assessment that revealed critical issues requiring extensive reconstruction. The upgraded assembly hall will feature advanced audiovisual systems, professional-grade sound infrastructure, and solar power energy systems, serving both academic and civic purposes.

Dr. Erinn emphasized the importance of discipline and excellence among students, urging them to give back to the institution that provided them with essential tools for success. The project is seen as a landmark alumni-driven educational development reflecting the enduring bond between the institution and its graduates.
