Esepo Agbaj Promises Knockout Against Sojar Boy on April 26

Taiwo Esepo Agbaj has vowed to knock out compatriot Tosin Sojar Boy Osaigbovo in their upcoming WBA lightweight title bout scheduled for April 26. During a press conference, Agbaj, who holds an 18-0 record with 13 knockouts and is a former WBF Intercontinental Featherweight Champion, confidently stated he would secure a victory in the seventh round.

He challenged Osaigbovo, who has a record of 12-0 with eight knockouts, asserting that losing would be a shame for him. The fight is sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control and the World Boxing Association, with Remi Aboderin representing the board.

Alhaji Wahid Alabi, chairman of De Lad's Box Promot, expressed excitement for the long-awaited contest, which is expected to be the main event of the night. The event is also supported by Ariya Network, which plans to enhance the profile of professional boxing in Africa through future tournaments.
