Ladoja Advocates for State Police to Combat Crime in Nigeria

Oba Rasidi Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, expressed strong support for the establishment of state police in Nigeria, stating that it would significantly reduce crime rates. This statement was made during a courtesy visit from members of the Ibadan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture at the Olubadan Palace.

Ladoja highlighted the importance of security for the flourishing of commerce, industry, and agriculture, particularly during a time when the country faces severe security challenges. Chief Emmanuel Folorunsho Ogunnaik, a member of the chamber's board, also emphasized the need for mentorship to develop the economy, trade, and agriculture.

He urged the government to revitalize moribund industries and provide necessary support to address challenges faced by the commerce and agricultural sectors in Oyo State.
