Kwankwaso Responds to Governor Yusuf's Disrespectful Remarks

In a recent interview with Trust TV, Rabiu Kwankwaso, a prominent political figure and former governor, addressed comments made by current Governor Abba Yusuf, who referred to him disrespectfully. Kwankwaso, aged 69, responded to Yusuf's challenge, emphasizing that he has been called "boy" in political contexts, including by former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who served two terms as deputy under him.

Kwankwaso criticized the disrespect shown towards him, asserting that such language is not acceptable, especially given their ages—Kwankwaso is 69 and Yusuf is 63. This exchange represents the first public rebuke from Kwankwaso towards Yusuf, who has previously commented on Kwankwaso's frequent remarks about him.

The political tension is further complicated by Kwankwaso's past association with the NNPP and his subsequent defection to the APC, which has led to accusations of betrayal from Yusuf.
