Ibrahim Kashim Seeks Bauchi Governorship with NDC Form

Ibrahim Kashim, the immediate past Secretary to the Government of Bauchi State, has officially picked up a governorship form from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as he expresses his interest in contesting the 2027 general elections. In a statement obtained on Saturday, Kashim described this move as the beginning of his quest to seek a mandate from the people of Bauchi State.

He formally picked up the form on Friday, marking an important step in his journey toward building a prosperous and secure Bauchi State. Kashim, who previously defected from the Social Democratic Party to the NDC on May 4, 2026, reassured the citizens of his commitment to uplift the people and ensure development across the state.

His aspirations are driven by a sincere commitment to restore hope, improve governance, create opportunities for youth, strengthen education and healthcare, support workers, promote agriculture, and ensure economic growth, aiming for a brighter future for all citizens.
