Benjamin Hundeyin Appointed Commander of Police Mobile Force

Benjamin Hundeyin has been appointed as the commander of Police Mobile Force Squadron 31 in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State. This appointment marks his transition from the role of Force Public Relations Officer, a position he held until September 2025.

Hundeyin, who previously served as the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, was promoted from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police to Assistant Commissioner of Police. His appointment was announced by Robert Anyawu, a media aide to the Delta State Governor, and was made public through a Facebook post.

During his initial visit to the local government area, Hundeyin led a delegation that met with Jude Chukwunwike, the chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, to discuss strengthening collaboration between the police and local government for enhanced security. Hundeyin holds a degree in English from Lagos State University and a master’s degree in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan.
