Garba Yusuf Joins Senatorial Race with TSG Support

Garba Yusuf, a former commissioner in the administration of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has declared his intention to run for a senatorial position. His announcement comes with strong backing from the Tinubu Support Group (TSG).

Yusuf emphasized the importance of engaging in politics without resorting to bitter insults and expressed his commitment to support any candidate who emerges from the primaries, even if he does not win. Muntari Ishaq Yakasai, his campaign director, noted that the party has made it clear that there will be no automatic ticket for any candidate.

Yusuf is urged to commence grassroots work immediately and will soon inaugurate a formal campaign organization. He highlighted his extensive track record in public service, recalling his tenure across nearly five ministries during his previous government service.
