Ex-Zamfara Aide Claims He Witnessed Dadiyata's Killing

Kamarawa, a former senior special assistant to the ex-governor of Zamfara State, has alleged that he was present when Dadiyata, a well-known lecturer and government critic, was killed during his abduction by gunmen at his home in Kaduna on August 1, 2019. This claim, made in a written statement in Hausa and circulated on social media, has sparked renewed calls for an investigation into Dadiyata's disappearance.

Kamarawa also accused two senior police officers, CSP Hussaini Gimba and CSP Hassan Gimba, of extorting and conducting illegal house searches. He described the police's investigation as partial and alleged that they were concealing details regarding the relationship between the former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, and the case.

Imran Wakili, a journalist, reacted to Kamarawa's claims, emphasizing the need for transparency in uncovering the truth about Dadiyata's disappearance.
