Ishola Backs Adeola for Ogun State Governorship Election

Sarafadeen Tunji Ishola, a former ambassador of the Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom, has publicly reaffirmed his support for Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, also known as Yayi, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election. Ishola made this affirmation during a consultative meeting with the Egba League of Imams in Abeokuta, where he praised Adeola's track record, character, and vision for Ogun State.

He expressed unwavering support for Adeola's candidacy, emphasizing that he is an ideal leader capable of propelling Ogun State into its next phase of development. Ishola, who has previously consolidated political structures in the state to back APC's gubernatorial candidates, highlighted the necessity of dedicated service to advance Ogun State.

He noted that Adeola's campaign is gaining significant momentum, receiving endorsements from various stakeholders, including traditional rulers and political heavyweights like former governors Olusegun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel, as well as the current governor, Dapo Abiodun.
