NANS and NAOSS Endorse Adeola for Ogun APC Governorship

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun Joint Campus Committee (JCC), and National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) have publicly endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, also known as YAYI, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 elections. This declaration was made during a press conference on Monday, where the student bodies criticized Hon. Abayomi Semako Hunye for falsely claiming the APC governorship ticket and attempting legal action to assert his position.

The students accused Hunye of trying to create confusion within the party and suggested he pursue his ambitions through another political platform if dissatisfied with the APC's decision. They emphasized that Adeola was chosen as the consensus candidate to promote party unity and development.

The student leaders highlighted Adeola's contributions to education and youth development in Ogun State, citing various projects and initiatives he has facilitated. They warned against any actions that could destabilize the state's political environment.
