Sani Kaita Applies for Nigeria U-17 Coaching Role

Sani Kaita, a former midfielder for the Super Eagles, has submitted his application for the head coach position of Nigeria's U-17 national football team, which is currently vacant. Kaita, who has experience playing for Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup, expressed his confidence in his ability to develop young talent and create a successful team that Nigerians can be proud of.

His application comes after the Nigeria Football Federation invited applications for several youth national team coaching positions. Kaita holds a UEFA B coaching license obtained from the Football Association of Wales and has highlighted his European playing experience with clubs such as Monaco and Sparta Rotterdam.

At 39 years old, he aims to give back to the development of young Nigerian players in a high-performance environment. Kaita has spent recent years working closely with young players to enhance their competitive growth and is currently associated with Hellen FC within the United Kingdom's youth football system.
