Ex-Niger Delta Militant Urges Tinubu to Reconcile Wike and Fubara for Peace in River State

Endur Amagbein, a former Niger Delta militant known as Adaka Boro II, has called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the political feud between River State Governor Nyesom Wike and Minister Siminalayi Fubara. Amagbein warns of dire consequences if the crisis is not addressed promptly.

He urges Wike and Fubara to set aside their differences and reconcile for the sake of peace in River State. Amagbein also cautions against political saboteurs exploiting the situation for personal gain.

The feud between Wike and Fubara stems from a struggle for political control following the emergence of Fubara as governor in 2023. Amagbein advises prominent Niger Delta leaders to ensure external actors do not destabilize the region.

The ongoing rift raises concerns about political stability in River State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
