Otti Launches Enyimba Hotel Reconstruction in Aba

Abia State Governor Alex Otti highlighted the significance of community expressions in shaping development narratives during the flag-off of the reconstruction of the Enyimba International Hotel and the Ovom land reclamation road project. Otti criticized the lack of visible announcements of achievements, advocating for a more relatable approach that resonates with ordinary citizens.

The Enyimba Hotel project, a collaboration with Radisson Blu, aims to deliver a 120-room facility within the next 12 months, enhancing Aba's profile as a commercial hub in West Africa. Otti acknowledged the historical context of the project, tracing its roots to a vision conceived five decades ago by leaders of the defunct East Central State.

He paid tribute to members of the Aba Chamber of Commerce and other stakeholders who contributed resources to the project, which had previously faced completion challenges.
