FA Cup Second Qualifying Round Draw Announced

The draw for the second qualifying round of the 2026-27 Emirates FA Cup has been announced, with 80 ties set to take place across England on the weekend of Saturday, September 19. This round includes clubs from the lower tiers of the English football pyramid, with several former Football League teams still in contention for a spot in the first-round proper.

Notable fixtures include Bury hosting Workington, Morecambe facing Southport, and Macclesfield traveling to Redcar Athletic. Other significant matchups are Chester's trip to Lower Breck, Hereford visiting Stafford Rangers, and Torquay United's home game against either Basingstoke Town or AFC Stoneham.

Dagenham & Redbridge will visit Waltham Abbey, while Dover Athletic hosts Folkestone Invicta, and Maidstone United faces either Lewes or Cray Wanderers. The winners of this round will receive £3,375 from the prize fund, while the losing teams will earn £1,125.
