Rev. William Okoye's Funeral Plans Announced for 2026

The family of the late Rev. William Okoye, Founder and General Overseer of All Christians Fellowship Mission, has announced his funeral service and burial will occur on October 9, 2026, in Agulu, Anambra State. Rev. Okoye, who served as Chaplain of the Aso Villa Chapel during the administrations of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, died on July 15, 2026, at the National Hospital, Abuja, after a brief illness, at the age of 74.
The funeral program will begin with a Service of Songs on September 30 at the Cathedral of Compassion, All Christians Fellowship Mission, Abuja, followed by a Night of Tributes and Honour on October 2 at the National Christian Centre, Abuja. His remains will be taken to Agulu for a wake keep at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Field on October 8.
The main funeral service will start at 9:00 a.m. on October 9, followed by burial at his residence in Amatutu Village. An outing service will conclude the rites on October 11 at Agulu Town Hall.
