Author Urges Hope Amid Family Breakdowns in New Book

On September 7, 2026, Mrs. Blessing Ijeoma Omorowe-Nwune, a medical laboratory scientist and public health practitioner, presented her book, ‘When Families Fall Apart: Navigating Separation, Divorce and Spousal Loss with Healing, Faith and Hope’, at Richland Hotels in Yemetu, Ibadan. Omorowe-Nwune urged individuals experiencing separation or divorce to see these challenges as opportunities for a new, purposeful life rather than the end of their existence.

Her personal experiences of childhood trauma and difficulties in her marriage inspired her to write the book, which she views as a tool to help others navigate similar struggles. The event featured remarks from Rotarian Oyebode Adesina, who discussed the causes of marital breakdowns and the importance of early counseling.
