Ojomu Royal Family Commends Police on Murder Probe

The Ojomu royal family, represented by HRH Tijani Adetunji Akinloy and Alhaji Yekini Olawal Bakar, expressed appreciation to the Nigeria Police and security agencies for their ongoing investigation into the murders of Prince Sherrif Isola Salami on April 18, 2023, and Prince Ademola Akinloy on August 26, 2024. The family launched a crackdown on unauthorized land sales, stating that certain unscrupulous individuals were misrepresenting the family to sell ancestral land.

They highlighted that the land in question, described as belonging to the Ojomu chieftaincy family, is protected by statutory documents and court judgments. The royal family disowned any unauthorized transactions and urged the public to verify claims before engaging in land deals.

They also noted that the ongoing enforcement drive is a response to increasing land disputes and fraudulent activities in Ajiranland, emphasizing their commitment to justice and the protection of their heritage.
