Ondo Security Chiefs Vow to Find Killers of Monarch

In response to the murder of Oba Kehind Jacob Faledon, the traditional ruler of Agamo in Akur North Local Government Area, security chiefs in Ondo State, led by Commissioner of Police Adebowal Lawal, have pledged to apprehend the suspects involved. The monarch was attacked on Wednesday night when armed men invaded his residence, leading to his abduction and subsequent death from gunshot wounds.

The incident has caused widespread outrage in the community. A high-powered team, including representatives from the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, has been deployed to the crime scene to assess the situation.

Preliminary investigations revealed that six masked gunmen were involved in the attack. Lawal emphasized the need for community cooperation in the investigation and urged residents to report any credible information to the police.

Additional security personnel have been deployed to ensure safety and track down the perpetrators.
