More Arrests Made in Lagos Monarch Son's Murder Case

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested additional suspects related to the murder of Prince Ademola Akinloy, whose death occurred on April 18, 2023. The incident took place when gunmen shot the victim along Chevron Drive near Ebeano Supermarket in the Agungi area of Lagos.

Following intelligence-gathering efforts, a total of nine suspects have been apprehended. Police Chief Olohundar Jimoh confirmed that the suspects made voluntary confession statements regarding their roles in the crime.

Although the exact number of additional suspects has not been disclosed, the police are committed to unraveling the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Ojomu royal family, led by Oba Tijani Akinloy, has issued a public notice urging for accountability and justice, emphasizing the need for safety within the kingdom and closure for the victim's family.
