Family of Abducted NYSC Member Dapo Seeks Government Aid

The family of Dapo, a recently discharged member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has urgently appealed to the Federal Government and security agencies for help following his abduction on the Ijebu-Ode-Ibadan Road. Dapo's sister, Abigeal, reported that the incident occurred on Tuesday after he left Ijebu-Ode en route to Ibadan.
The kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of N20 million, which they later raised to N25 million, with a 24-hour deadline for payment. Dapo had been providing updates about his journey until he became unreachable.
After the attack, one co-member escaped and informed the family about the kidnapping. The police were notified, and while they recovered the bus and luggage, Dapo and nine other corps members remain missing.
The family received a call from the kidnappers using Dapo's phone, confirming the ransom demand and threatening consequences if not paid.
