FUOYE Vice-Chancellor Advocates Policy Stability for Nigerian Universities in Valedictory Lecture

Professor Abayomi Fasina, the Vice-Chancellor of FUOYE, stressed the importance of policy stability in Nigerian federal universities to ensure sustained reforms and global competitiveness. During his valedictory lecture marking the end of his five-year tenure, Fasina highlighted FUOYE's transformation, including completing 160 infrastructure projects and expanding academic programs.

He advocated for transparent leadership, institutional autonomy, and long-term planning to enhance the relevance of public universities. Fasina's tenure showcased significant growth in student enrollment, infrastructure development, and revenue generation.

Victor Ndoma-Egba, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of FUOYE, commended Fasina's disciplined administration and commitment to excellence. Adenike Oladiji, the Vice-Chancellor of FUTA, acknowledged Fasina's valuable leadership lessons for public universities nationwide.
