FBI Offers $10,000 Reward for Nigerian Fugitive Adediran's Arrest

The FBI has offered a $10,000 bounty (N14 million) for information leading to the arrest of Nigerian fugitive Olumide Adebiyi Adediran. Adediran has been on the run for over two decades since fleeing the Central District of Illinois in late December 2001, just before his federal trial on charges including bank fraud and identity theft.

The FBI states that Adediran violated the terms of his release by absconding and becoming a fugitive. He is accused of attempting to withdraw money using a fraudulent check and opening a bank account with stolen personal information.

The reward is for details that result in his arrest and conviction.
