FCSC Warns Against Fake Recruitment Links in Nigeria

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) issued a warning to the public regarding fake recruitment messages and unauthorized application links circulating on social media and online platforms. In a statement signed by Ibraheem Zakariyya, the Head of Press and Public Relations, the FCSC advised prospective applicants to verify recruitment information through its official website and authorized communication channels.

The Commission cautioned against clicking unsolicited links, submitting personal information, or making payments to unofficial entities claiming to represent the FCSC. It reiterated that genuine recruitment into the Federal Civil Service adheres to established rules, specifically Rule 020102(i) of the Public Service Rules (2021), which mandates that appointments for Grade Levels 07 to 17 are made by the FCSC following due advertisement.

Vacancies must be advertised in three national newspapers and on the Commission's official website. The FCSC urged job seekers to rely on official announcements and to provide accurate information during the application process to avoid disqualification.
