FCSC Warns Against Unauthorized Recruitment Scams

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has issued a warning regarding unauthorized recruitment messages and links circulating on social media, which falsely invite the public to apply for positions within the Federal Civil Service. The FCSC clarified that individuals should not trust such messages unless they originate from official announcements made through authorized channels.

The public is advised to avoid clicking on or submitting personal information in response to unsolicited recruitment offers. According to the Public Service Rules, appointments to posts graded GL.07–17 are made by the FCSC as vacancies arise, requiring advertisements in three national newspapers and on the Commission's official website.

Recruitment is a structured process that does not involve private agents or individuals claiming to influence hiring. The FCSC encourages the public to verify recruitment information directly through its official website and designated Help Desk to avoid falling victim to scams.
