FCSC Yet to Set Date for Computer-Based Test in Recruitment

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) announced that it has not yet fixed a date for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) related to its pending recruitment exercise. In a statement issued on Monday by Ibraheem Zakariyya, the Head of Press and Public Relations, the FCSC clarified that the recruitment process has not been abandoned.

The Chairman, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, is aware of the concerns from applicants regarding delays, particularly concerning the shortlisting of candidates and the CBT. The FCSC assured that efforts are underway to conclude the recruitment process once the necessary resources are available.

Shortlisted candidates will be assigned to states for the CBT once arrangements are finalized. The commission advised applicants to remain patient and to rely solely on official communications regarding the next steps, warning against unofficial information from social media.

The FCSC reaffirmed its commitment to a credible and transparent recruitment process, emphasizing the importance of employment opportunities for Nigerian youths.
