FCSC Schedules 2026 Directorate Level Promotion Exam

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has announced that the 2026 Directorate Level Promotion Examination (Local Leg) will take place from September 21 to September 23, 2026. This examination is intended for eligible officers across the Federal Civil Service.

The announcement was made through Circular Ref. No.

FC.6243/GOV/2026/VOL.II/27, dated September 17, 2026, and signed by the Hon. Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Tunji Olaopa. The examination is set to commence at 7:00 a.m. each day and will cover all Grade Levels.

Candidates are required to attend designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres as indicated on their examination IDs. The Commission has urged all accredited candidates to take note of the examination schedule and make necessary arrangements to participate.

Additionally, Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers, and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are encouraged to ensure compliance with the Circular.
