FCSC Schedules 2026 Directorate Level Promotion Exam

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has announced that the 2026 Directorate Level Promotion Examination (Local Leg) will take place from September 21 to 23, 2026. According to a press release issued on September 18, 2026, by Ibraheem Zakariyya, Head of Press and Public Relations for the Commission, the examination will commence daily at 7:00 a.m.

A circular, referenced as FC.6243/GOV/2026/VOL.II/27 and signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, indicates that the examination will encompass all Grade Levels. Candidates are required to report to their designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers as indicated on their examination IDs.

The FCSC has urged all accredited candidates to take note of the examination dates, commencement times, and venues, and to make necessary arrangements to participate. Additionally, the Commission has instructed Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers, and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to ensure compliance with the circular.
