FCSC Launches Online Accreditation for Promotions

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has commenced an online accreditation exercise for candidates participating in the promotion exercise for Officers on Salary Grade Levels 14, 15, and 16 in the Federal Civil Service. The accreditation period runs from Friday, 14 August to Friday, 28 August 2026.

Affected candidates must complete their online accreditation through the Commission’s designated promotion portal using login details sent to their registered email addresses. The FCSC has emphasized that the accreditation portal will close on 28 August 2026, with no extensions granted.

Candidates who do not complete their accreditation within this timeframe will need to re-present themselves for the exercise in 2027. The Commission has urged all candidates to complete the process promptly and has instructed Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers, and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to ensure that all concerned staff are informed for compliance.
