Wike: All FCT Projects Under Tinubu to Finish by 2027

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, stated that all capital projects initiated under President Bola Tinubu's administration will be completed before the end of his tenure in 2027. During a monthly media chat in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Wike reported that 107 capital projects have been commissioned in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with 76 already completed.

He indicated that 10 additional projects would be commissioned before the January elections, with all remaining projects expected to be finished by the end of Tinubu's administration. Wike also mentioned that the FCT Administration has made significant progress on projects inherited from previous administrations, completing 23 out of 25 projects inherited from former President Muhammadu Buhari, with two ongoing.

Additionally, six out of eight projects inherited from former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Umaru Musa Yar’Adua have been completed, with two still in progress. Wike emphasized the administration's commitment to infrastructure development in Abuja.
