Wike: Abuja Infrastructure Projects Campaign for 2027 Elections

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, asserted that the ongoing infrastructure projects in Abuja are the strongest campaign message for the 2027 general elections. During an inspection of the Arterial Road N16 and Tunga Madaki–Zuba road projects on Wednesday, Wike emphasized that political activities would not hinder his administration's focus on completing key development projects.

He highlighted that the administration's achievements provide a clear record of performance for voters, who prioritize tangible results over political rhetoric. Wike expressed satisfaction with the progress of the Arterial Road N16 project, which links Jahi, Gwarimpa, and Karsana, with the contractor, CBC Global, promising completion by January.

He also commended the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation for its work on the 7.3-kilometre Tunga Madaki–Zuba road, expected to be completed by December. Wike assured that funding for critical projects would continue and urged contractors to maintain high standards and meet deadlines, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
