APC Leads AMAC Chairmanship Election Results Collation

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently leading in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship election as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) begins the collation of results. The election was conducted on a Saturday, with a total of 1,401 polling units and 795,081 registered voters.

Prof. Andrew Abu addressed party agents and observers during the process.

The total number of accredited voters was 5,058, with 4,877 valid votes cast. The APC secured 3,265 votes, followed by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) with 390 votes, and other parties including the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) receiving 633 and 154 votes, respectively.

The results were announced by Mr. Ahm Moha, the ward collation officer, detailing the voting outcomes across various wards, including Wuse, Garki, Jiwa, Gui, Gwagwa, Citi Centr, Kabusa, and Karu.
