Early Arrival of Election Materials in Abuja Polls

On the day of the elections in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reported the early arrival of election materials at the city centre. Emmanuel Miracl arrived at 7:30 AM to oversee activities at polling unit 15, where security personnel, including members of the Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), were already present.

Polling units 072 and 073 were prepared by 7:50 AM, with agents from the All Progressives Congress (APC), including Salihu Abubakar, confirming their early arrival and readiness for the elections. The atmosphere was described as peaceful, with INEC ad hoc staff expressing confidence in the conduct of the elections.
