FCTA Launches 7km Tunga Madaki Road Extension to Zuba

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has commenced the process to extend the Tunga Madaki road by 7 kilometers to Zuba, which will connect to Bill Clinton Drive near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, disclosed this during an inspection of the ongoing project, which is crucial as it aligns with the upcoming third anniversary of President Bola Tinubu's administration.

Wike highlighted the importance of ensuring that compensation arrangements are in place for affected communities. He officially flagged off the project, which is scheduled for completion in 2025, and cautioned contractors to adhere to deadlines, particularly as the project is slated for inauguration during Tinubu's anniversary.

Wike expressed dissatisfaction with delays from contractors managing other projects in Abuja but commended the quality of work on the N16 interchange at the Institute Research Centre near the Kei Academy in Abuja, assuring that it would be ready for inauguration as scheduled.
