This voluntary recall was prompted by tests indicating a critical “lack of assurance of sterility,” posing serious contamination risks.

The FDA classified this recall as a Class II, meaning exposure to the unsterile eye drops could lead to temporary or medically reversible health issues. Affected products were sold at major retailers across the United States, including Walmart, Target, Kroger, Meijer, Dollar General, and Family Dollar.
