FCSC Announces 2026 Promotion Exam Dates and Locations

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has officially announced the dates and examination centres for the 2026 Directorate-Level Promotion Examination for eligible civil servants. This information was released in a circular dated September 8, 2026, by the FCSC, under reference number FC.6243/GOV/2026/VOL.III/22.

Ibraheem Zakariyya, the Head of Press and Public Relations of the commission, provided details in a statement from Abuja. The examination will occur in two phases, addressing both local and foreign candidates.

The local examination is scheduled for September 21 to September 23, 2026, and will be held in selected centres across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory. Specific centres include Lafia for North-Central, Kaduna for North-West, Bauchi for North-East, Port Harcourt for South-South, Ibadan for South-West, and Enugu for South-East.

Abuja will serve as the centre for the Federal Capital Territory. Candidates must check their examination identity cards for details and report to their assigned centres by 7:00 a.m. on their exam day.
