FCSC Calls SGL 16 Officers for 2026 Promotion Interviews

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has issued an invitation to shortlisted officers on Salary Grade Level 16 (SGL 16) for the 2026 Directorate-Level Promotion Oral Interview. This invitation follows the successful completion of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for the promotion exercise.

The details are outlined in Circular No. FC.6243/GOV/2026/VOL.II/76, dated 27 October 2026, from the Office of the Honourable Chairman of the Commission.

The list of shortlisted candidates, identified by their examination numbers, is available on the Commission’s official website. The Oral Interview is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 11 November, to Friday, 20 November 2026.

Shortlisted candidates must report daily at 7:30 a.m. at Eagle Square, in front of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Abuja, for transportation to the interview venue. The Commission has instructed all Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers, and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to ensure that all shortlisted candidates, including those serving outside their headquarters and those posted abroad, are informed of the circular's contents.
