Nigerian Government Begins Personnel Audit and Skills Gap Analysis in Civil Service

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, has commenced a personnel audit and skills gap analysis in the civil service. This initiative, known as the PASGA project, aims to create a definitive database of government employees to guide critical decisions in recruitment, training, career advancement, and identifying critical shortages in areas like ICT and data analysis.

Dr. Didi Walson Jack emphasized the importance of this audit as a major milestone in the government's civil service strategic implementation plan for 2021-2025.

Dr. Danjuma Kalba is leading the preparatory work for the project in collaboration with Knewrow Consult.
