Federal Ministry Launches New Website and HOPE-SP Project

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has officially changed its website address from fmhds.gov.ng to fmhapr.gov.ng, urging stakeholders and the public to update their records. This change aligns the digital identity with the ministry's current name and mandate.

Minister Dr Bernard M. Doro announced this update, indicating a broader operational shift towards more effective humanitarian responses.

He stated that the ministry would focus on compassion, empathy, and humane benevolence in government interventions, ensuring fair treatment of Nigerians. The ministry's vision aims to establish proactive, humane, inclusive, and sustainable social protection systems for the welfare of Nigerians.

Additionally, the ministry unveiled the $1 billion Household Prosperity and Economic Social Protection Project (HOPE-SP) at the Banquet Hall, State House, themed "From Palliatives to Pathways." The First Lady attended as the special guest of honor, commending the minister for transforming humanitarian interventions into sustainable pathways for recovery and empowerment.
